Below are our standard terms and conditions. Currently, For all new bookings made until the end of 2021, our more flexible temporary terms and conditions will apply, with a more relaxed cancellation policy so you can book with confidence, without putting your money at risk.

We strongly recommend that you also read the Essential Trip Information relating to your trip prior to booking to ensure that you understand the itinerary, style and demands of the trip you are undertaking.

To book a trip, we require a 15% deposit which is payable via our online payment gateway system. We accept credit cards for payment only with a 5% surcharge. Final payment is due 14 days before the trip start date by our online payment gateway system.
We arrange in-country travel including airport transfers, domestic flights, and hotel stays. We recommend that you purchase trip cancellation and emergency evacuation insurance.

Any mention of BPJ, Bantu Pori or the Company refers to Bantu Pori Journeys.
The following items are included in quoted programs: all accommodations and activities as noted in the itinerary; meals as specified; guided sightseeing as noted in the itinerary; relevant park, rescue, and entrance fees; airport transfers as noted in the invoice; equipment as noted in the invoice; all government taxes.
The following items are not included in trip prices: your health and travel insurance; international or internal airfare unless otherwise noted; costs associated with passports or entry visas; airport departure taxes; excess baggage charges; gratuities; meals other than specified in the itinerary or invoice; sightseeing and game drives not included in the itinerary; and personal expenses such as laundry, email, and telephone charges.
Gratuities are not included for drivers, guides, cooks, porters, or camp staff. Gratuities are at the traveller's discretion and should meet the level of satisfaction with the service received.

Itinerary Accommodations (hotel, camp, or campsite) and arranged sightseeing are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond Bantu Pori`s control. Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned, but changes may occur after the final itinerary has been issued. Bantu Pori reserves the right to increase tour prices to cover increased costs, tariffs and taxes, and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets.
A 15% deposit will be required to be paid for the confirmation of the booking. The balance of payment is due 14 days prior to travel or the booking will be released. Should the balance not be paid, Arrangements will have to be made for the balance to be paid in CASH UPON ARRIVAL. Otherwise the deposit will be forfeited.
In the event a cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to arrival, a full refund of any payment made, net of bank charges and net lodges/hotel deposits, will be issued. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will incur 100% cancellation fees and no refund will be given.
However, trips will be allowed to be postponed through December 31, 2021, in the case that:
1. A client is unable to leave their country or enter East Africa due to COVID-19 travel restrictions / official travel advisories being in place.
2. A client is unable to travel or enter East Africa due to testing positive for COVID-19 within 96 hours prior to arrival (proof of a positive test for Covid-19 will be required).
